Porto # 2: Street Style-Women

    En mi reciente visita a Oporto el buen tiempo hizo presencia, predominaron días soleados, todo esto tuvo su repercusión en el tipo de ropa y los looks que se podían ver por la calle, ropa desenfadada, de colores y estampados primaverales fueron parte de la tónica de los atuendos; también chaquetas finas, así como el típico uniforme universitario, vestimenta que los jóvenes llevan ya sea tanto invierno como verano.

  On my recent visit to Porto warm weather was present, predominated sunny days, this had its impact on the type of clothes and looks that could be seen on the street, casual clothing, color and spring prints were part of usual looks; also thin jackets, as well as the typical college uniform, clothing that university students take either both winter and summer.

     Aunque Oporto no es un destino típico para ir de compras, la ciudad ofrece diferentes posibilidades: tiendas de artesanía tradicional portuguesa, mercados tradicionales, centros comerciales, etc. La calle comercial más importante de Oporto es la Rua Santa Catarina donde se encuentran algunas de las mejores tiendas de la ciudad.

    Although Porto is not a typical shopping destination, the city offers different possibilities: traditional Portuguese handicraft shops, traditional markets, shopping centers, etc.. The most important street Shpopping in Porto is Rua Santa Catarina home to some of the best shopping in the city.

    Si queréis tomaros un respiro entre compra y compra podéis tomar un café o unos dulces en una de las muchas cafeterías que hay a lo largo de la calle. Recomendamos el Café Majestic, un elegante café de los años 20 que aún conserva la esencia del pasado de Oporto.

   If you want to take a break from shopping you can have a coffee or sweets in one of the many cafes there along the street. We recommend the Majestic Café, an elegant coffee-20s that still retains the essence of the past Porto.
